Renewable Energy
High energy consumption is an issue in the CEA industry.
HarvestUp is committed to protecting our environment by reducing our reliance on electricity produced by burning oil and coal. We are devoting our efforts to renewable energy sources.
Anaerobic Digester
Anaerobic Digesters (AD) combine food waste and cow manure and process it into usable biogas.
With further research and development, HarvestUp plans to power our farm using an anaerobic digester.
A Connected Farm
Our goal is to provide high-quality food with an increased shelf life, reducing consumer food waste. Food waste disposed of locally will be collected, combined with cow manure, and processed into biogas for renewable energy to power our farm.
